Two Cowboys Named To Aztec Invitational All-Tournament Team

SAN DIEGO Â Oklahoma State's Dylan Brown and Andrew Oliver have been named to the 2008 Aztec Invitational All-Tournament Team.
Brown helped lead OSU to a 2-2 finish at the tourney. The sophomore started all four games in the outfield and hit .533 with eight hits in 15 at bats and turned in a 1.000 slugging percentage. He led OSU with four runs scored and a pair of triples, collected three RBIs and also blasted his first home run of the season.
With his efforts in San Diego, Brown raised his batting average 250 points and is now hitting .333 on the season.
Oliver, also a sophomore, started OSU's tourney opening game against Loyola Marymount. The southpaw did not factor into the decision, but he worked seven strong innings and allowed just one run while striking out six.
Loyola Marymount finished as the Aztec Invitational champion with a 3-1 mark. OSU was the lone team to defeat the Lions, earning a 3-2 triumph.
The Cowboys tied for second place in the tournament as they were one of four teams in the field to finish with a 2-2 mark.
