In Their Own Words: Why I Chose OSU

Members of the 2007-08 Cowboy wrestling team were recently asked why they chose to attend Oklahoma State University. Here are their answers:
Ace Adamson: The excellent wrestling program and strong academics.
Luke Ashmore: I wanted to wrestle on the No. 1 team in the country and wrestle for the best coach in the country.
Mike Bizzle: Everything fit for me. The wrestling, academics and the ability to go home any time made my decision for me.
Walker Clarke: I like the community and want to be a national champion.
Chaz Cointment: It's the best wrestling program and has the finest coach in the country.
Jake Dieffenbach: Coming here gives me the best chance to win.
Jake Duke: It's my hometown.
Neil Erisman: The coaching staff and the tradition of excellence.
Clayton Foster: The great tradition, the great workout partners and the great coaching.
Ryan Freeman: God provided me with an incredible opportunity to wrestle for the best team in the nation, and I couldn't turn that down.
Quinten Fuentes: The wrestling.
Kyle Griffin: I know I can achieve my goals here.
Trent Heath: I want to be the best wrestler and person that I can possibly be. There is no better wrestling program than OSU and I believe that if I put all that I can into wrestling, I will become a better person.
Cody Hill: It was close to home and because of the great tradition the wrestling program has.
Jack Jensen: The wrestling program.
Sam Lewnes: The great wrestling program and hotel/restaurant program.
Brandon Mason: The wrestling tradition, the coaches and wrestling partners.
Chris McNeil: I wanted to be the best and develop an edge to stay the best.
Newly McSpadden: The wrestling history.
Nathan Morgan: I always believed I was born a Cowboy.
Brad Neitenbach: My mom competed here.
Brent Parkey: It's close to home and it's the best team.
Jamal Parks: I have wanted to attend OSU ever since I started wrestling and I have known some of the wrestlers for a long time. My best friend's sister is married to Zack Esposito.
Chad Ravannack: The education and the outstanding wrestling program.
Adam Rosholt: OSU has a great wrestling team and the major I wanted.
Jared Rosholt: The tradition it carries and the fans.
Coleman Scott: The rich winning tradition and all the great coaches.
Jared Shelton: We are the best!
Tyler Shinn: I wanted to be part of the great tradition and keep it alive.
