Cowgirls Hold On To Defeat Oral Roberts, 58-48

STILLWATER, Okla.ÂOklahoma State's women's basketball team overcame a tough night at the offensive end of the floor on Tuesday to defeat Oral Roberts, 58-48, in front of 2,371 fans inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
The Cowgirls (5-2) entered the contest averaging 78 points per game, but were held to a 31 percent shooting effort on the night from the floor.
The Golden Eagles (5-5) also held the Big 12's leading scorer, Andrea Riley in check. The OSU junior scored a season-low 14 points and was one of just two Cowgirls to finish in double figures.
Junior Tegan Cunningham led Oklahoma State with 16 points.
With the win, OSU has now won 28 consecutive games at home against non-conference opponents.
Janae Voelker paced the Golden Eagles with 14 points and a game-high 13 rebounds, with Mariana Camargo and Georgia Jones adding 12 each.
The Cowgirls will be back in action on Friday when they take on Southern Miss at 3 p.m. (CST) in the first round of the Desert Draw in Las Vegas.
