Four Cowboys Earn All-America Honors From Rivals.com

STILLWATER, Okla. Â Oklahoma State had four players named to the 2008 Rivals.com All-American teams, it was announced by the website today.
OSU's four selections tied for the third most of any team represented on the Rivals.com list. Running back Kendall Hunter highlighted the group of Cowboys as he was named to the first team. Wide receiver Dez Bryant and offensive tackle Russell Okung earned second-team honors, while Perrish Cox was named to the third team as a kickoff returner.
Hunter established himself as one of college football's top ball carriers this season with nine 100-yard rushing games, which enabled the sophomore from Tyler, Texas, to rack up 1,518 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. The first-team All-Big 12 Conference performer averages 6.7 yards per carry and ranks sixth nationally with 126.5 rushing yards per contest.
Bryant has enjoyed one of the most productive seasons by a wide receiver in OSU football history. A first-team All-Big 12 pick and finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, Bryant set a school record with 18 touchdown catches this season to go along with 74 receptions for 1,313 yards.
A three-year starter on the offensive line, Okung has paved the way for one of the top offensive attacks in OSU history and also earned first-team all-conference honors this season. The Cowboys are averaging 41.6 points and 489.2 yards per game and sport a balanced attack that averages 256 yards rushing and 233.2 yards passing per outing.
Cox continues to perform as one of the most dangerous return men at the collegiate level. Cox is averaging over 30 yards per kickoff return in 2008 and has a pair of kickoff returns for touchdowns. He leads active FBS players and holds the Big 12 and OSU records with four career kickoff returns for touchdowns.
