Cowboys Wrap Up Fall Season At Isleworth Collegiate

WINDERMERE, Fla. Â Oklahoma State's men's golf team concluded its fall slate on Tuesday at the Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational, tying for ninth place at Isleworth Golf and Country Club.
The Cowboys posted a 21-over 309 score during their final round to finish with a three-day total of 902, 38-over par, and tied with UCLA. The duo finished one stroke behind Stanford for eighth place at the par-72, 7,491-yard layout.
Georgia cruised to the team title after carding a 296 during its third round. The Bulldogs finished with an 867 total and 17 shots clear of runner-up Alabama.
Russell Henley of Georgia finished atop the individual standings with a 4-under total of 212. Henley's 74 on Tuesday was good for a two-shot victory.
OSU sophomore Rickie Fowler jumped 15 spots in the individual race and finished tied for 12th after firing a 1-under 71 to close play. The Murrieta, Calif., native finished with a 3-over 219 total.
Junior Trent Whitekiller also made a significant move during the final round, vaulting from a tie for 42nd place into a tie for 23rd after posting a 74. Whitekiller finished the event at 224.
Sophomore Kevin Tway carded an 83 on Tuesday to finish at 228 and tied for 41st place, while freshman Morgan Hoffmann closed with an 81 to come in tied for 54th place at 231.
Sophomore Mark Johnson rounded out the lineup with an 85 to finish among the group tied for 82nd place at 240.
Competing at the Baylor Intercollegiate, redshirt freshman Bernhard Neumann wrapped up the first start of his college career with a 70 at Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas. Neumann's 1-under score gave him a 10-over 223 total and moved him up nine spots on the leaderboard into a tie for 25th.
