Rickie Fowler Maintains Lead At WATC

ADELAIDE, Australia  Oklahoma State's Rickie Fowler carded a 70 during the third round of play at the World Amateur Team Championship to remain in first place with one round remaining at Royal Adelaide Golf Club.
Fowler holds a one-stroke advantage over Wallace Booth of Scotland. The Murrieta, Calif., native stands at 12-under 205.
During his third round, Fowler posted three birdies against no bogeys on his front nine before coming in with eight pars and one bogey to finish at 2-under for the day.
The American squad will begin the final 18 holes four shots behind Scotland in the team race. The U.S. has a three round total of 17-under 417, while the Scottish team stands at 413.
OSU freshman Sean Einhaus is tied for 100th place at 229 after signing for a 77. His German team will begin its final round in 24th place.
