Trevor Brown is in his third year with the Oklahoma State program. After a year as the assistant director of baseball operations, he served as a graduate manager, and he will spend this season as a volunteer assistant coach. Prior to coming to OSU, Brown spent five years playing professional baseball.
The Eugene, Ore. native began his collegiate career at Lane Community College, where he led that program to a NWAAC title.
Brown spent the next two seasons at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. In 2000, he earned All-American honors and All-Region Player of the Year honors and led the Warriors to the NAIA World Series title.
Following the 2001 season, Brown was drafted in the 17th round of the Major League Baseball Draft by the San Diego Padres. He played one season at Class A-Short Season, spent two seasons in the independent leagues and also played one season in the Oakland A's organization.
