2007: Started all 60 games at first base for the Cowboys ... a second-team All-Big 12 selection ... ranked second on the team in hits (90) and third in home runs (14), RBIs (68) and total bases (152) ... proved to be a clutch performer for the Cowoys, belting out a three-run home run in the Cowboys' come-from-behind victory over Illinois-Chicago (2/11) and the game-winning single in the 10th inning against Pepperdine (3/9) ... blasted eight home runs to go along with 30 RBIs during Big 12 play ... recorded an RBI in every Big 12 series ... had four games with four or more RBIs, including a career-high seven-RBI performance against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (4/18) and five-RBI performances against Illinois-Chicago and Texas Tech ... was 3-for-5 with five RBIs in the series opener vs. Texas Tech (5/11) ... named Big 12 Player of the Week on April 2 ... had 26 multi-hit games ... led team with 34 two-out RBIs ... tabbed as the most outstanding player at the Fayetteville Regional after going 6-for-12 at the plate ... belted two home runs and had two doubles while scoring three times and driving in five runs to lead OSU to the Regional championship ... went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs against Creighton (6/1) ... was 3-for-4 with a home run in final game of Super Regional vs. Louisville (6/10).
2006: Played in 30 games, starting 28 at first base ... missed 22 games with a broken wrist ... started first 18 games of season and hit .366 with a home run and nine RBIs ... had a career-high four hits against San Diego State (3/15) ... collected a career-high five RBIs against OU (5/27) as he was 2-for-4 with a double and a homer ... drove in four runs with a pair of doubles against Texas Tech (5/21) ... was 5-for-14 in the Western Illinois series and smashed his first career homer in the season finale (2/26).
2005: Spent freshman season at Midland (Texas) JC ... hit .445 with 13 home runs and 74 RBI ... also had 19 doubles and a .797 slugging percentage.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterman for coach Jason Goosetree at Sentinel High School ... played catcher and first base ... was an all-state selection his senior season.
