Ashmore Off The Mat
I chose to attend Oklahoma State because: I love the wrestling program here, and the location of the school.
If I would describe myself as a wrestler, I would say: I am strong and I rely on my bread and butter. I love to perfect my moves which makes me somewhat technical.
If I were to describe myself as a person, I would say: I am a fun person once you get to know me. I will do anything for my friends and I love to try new things.
I would describe John Smith: As being a genius when it comes to wrestling. He is never stumped on a wrestling question. When I think of wrestling, I think of John Smith.
My favorite thing about being in Stillwater is: It's a fun town with a lot to do, but at the same time, it is not a big city so it's not too crazy.
My favorite thing about being a wrestler at Oklahoma State is: The fact that I have the best coaches and partners that a wrestler could ask for.
If I was talking to someone who didn't know about wrestling and they asked me about the Oklahoma State wrestling program, I would say: We are the number one program for Division I wrestling in the nation. We are the most accomplished team in the nation and you can't get better coaches or wrestling partners.
If I could compete in any other sport besides wrestling, it would be: Ultimate Fighting.
If I could trade places with anyone in the world for a day, it would be: Bill Gates.
The thing that inspires me when I compete is: God, my family and this wrestling program's name.
The proudest moment of my life so far was: Graduating from high school and accomplishing everything I wanted to in wrestling before college.
When I'm not wrestling or in school, I enjoy: Cars, girls, hanging out with friends and cooking out.
