2007 Oklahoma State Cowgirl Soccer Season Superlatives

 The Oklahoma State Cowgirls finished the 2007 season with a 14-6-3 record and earned a berth in the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship for the second consecutive season and third time in school history.
 OSU's 14 wins was the third-highest total in program history.
 The Cowgirls advanced to the second round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship for the second-straight year.
 OSU defeated four teams ranked in the Top 10 in 2007  No. 5 Missouri, No. 8 Texas, No. 9 Notre Dame and No. 9 San Diego.
 OSU was ranked as high as No. 20 in the preseason, and the Cowgirls finished the season ranked as high as 17th. It marks the first time in program history that OSU has started and finished the season in the national rankings.
 The Cowgirls ended the season ranked No. 17 by Soccer Buzz Magazine and 23rd in both the NSCAA/adidas and SoccerTimes.com polls.
 On Sept. 16, Oklahoma State defeated No. 9 Notre Dame on its home field. That win snapped the Fighting Irish's 43-game home unbeaten streak, the third-longest streak in women's Division I soccer history and a streak that spanned four years.
 OSU set a program home attendance record with 10,222 fans, an average of 929 fans per game at Cowgirl Soccer Stadium.
 Sophomore forward Kasey Langdon led OSU with nine assists, which ranked second in the Big 12.
 OSU's 10 shutouts tied for tops in the Big 12, and the Cowgirls 0.84 goals against average ranked second.
 Junior goalkeeper Erin Stigler tied for the Big 12 lead in shutouts with seven.
 Junior midfielder Yolanda Odenyo was named first-team All-Big 12 for the second consecutive year and also earned a spot on the Big 12 Soccer Championship All-Tournament team.
 OSU had a conference-best 13 players named Academic All-Big 12, including 11 first-team honorees. The Cowgirls' 3.39 team GPA was the highest in the Big 12.
 OSU earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the sixth-straight year.
 Freshman Allyson Leggett was named to the Big 12 All-Newcomer team.
 Sasa Jackson, Erin Stigler, Yolanda Odenyo and Katie Richardson were named to the OSU Invitational All-Tournament team. Jackson was the tourney's offensive MVP, and Stigler earned defensive MVP honors.
 Siera Strawser, Yolanda Odenyo and Kasey Langdon were named to the Notre Dame Inn At Saint Mary's Classic All-Tournament team.
 OSU had two players earn Big 12 Player of the Week honors in 2007. Sasa Jackson was named the league's offensive POW on Sept. 18, while goalie Erin Stigler earned the defensive POW award on Sept. 18.
 Two Cowgirls earned spots on the Soccer America Team of the Week  Yolanda Odenyo on Sept. 18 and Kasey Langdon on Oct. 16.

 Annika Niemeier was named to the Central Region All-Freshman team by Soccer Buzz Magazine.
 Niccole Grimaldi and Sasa Jackson were named first-team Academic All-District by ESPN The Magazine/CoSida.
 Yolanda Odenyo was one of 14 finalists for the Soccer Buzz National Player of the Year and earned second-team All-America honors from the online publication.
 Niccole Grimaldi was named to the Big 12 Fall Good Works Team.
 Yolanda Odenyo was one of 46 players on the 2007 Hermann Trophy Watch List.
 Erin Stigler set the school record for career shutouts with 15.
 Kasey Langdon was named to the Top Drawer Soccer College Team of the Season second team.
 Katie Richardson earned a spot on the Top Drawer Soccer All-Rookie second team.
 Five Cowgirls were recognized by the NSCAA/adidas as Scholar All-South Region. Niccole Grimaldi and Yolanda Odenyo were named first-team Scholar All-South Region, while Sasa Jackson, Jessica Jarrell and Jamie Markaverich were named honorable mention.
 Niccole Grimaldi earned a $2,500 postgraduate scholarship from Mrs. Baird's Bread. Grimaldi was one of 12 winners of the scholarship, which is awarded based on academics and citizenship.
