2006 (Sophomore Year): Academic all-Big 12 honoree for her success in the classroom ... Competed in the first two meets of the season, finishing 31st at the two-mile Hurricane Cross Country Festival with a 14:37 and finishing 53rd at the two-mile North Texas Invitational with a 14:51.
2005 (Freshman Year): Competed in a pair of events as a freshman, clocking a 13:45 at the two-mile Hurricane Invitational to finish 33rd and finishing the 5000-meter ORU Subway Classic in 24:31 to come in 25th.
High School: Attended Jenks HS in Jenks, Okla., where she was coached by Martha O'Rourke and Maria Fernandez ... All-state and all-district honoree ... Recipient of the Trojan Award as Jenks' Most Valuable Player ... Competed all four years on the varsity cross country and track teams ... Captain of the cross country and track team as a senior ...
