Note: Masai is the first Kenyan runner in the history of the women's cross country and track program.

2007 (R-Freshmen Year): Masai was the top finisher for the Cowgirls at the Hurricane Cross Country Festival, finishing the two-mile run in 13th with a time of 12:37.

2006 (Redshirt Year): Did not compete.

High School: Masai was a late bloomer in the running world, as she didn't pick up the sport until 2005 ... Ran a personal best time of 4:30.06 in the 1,500-meter run during the summer of 2006.

Personal: Born May 20, 1985 ... Daughter of Ignatius and Dorcas Masai ... Has seven siblings, Hellen, Jack, Norah, Fiona, Cynthia, Sheila and Annett.
