2006-07 (Junior Season)
• played in 30 games and started three over a five-game span for the Cowboys.
• played a career-high 33 minutes in the victory over Texas.
• sealed the win over Oklahoma in Stillwater with a rebound and two free throws in the waning seconds.
• dished out a career-best seven assists against Southwestern Oklahoma State and also matched his career high with five rebounds.
• grabbed a career-high five rebounds against Pepperdine and also dished out four assists.
• scored a career-high six points, making two three-point shots, at Baylor.
• was 8-of-17 (47.1 percent) from long range on the season.
2005-06 (Sophomore Season at Northern Oklahoma College)
• played in all 31 games and started most for Northern Oklahoma College and coach Mick Weiberg.
• averaged 6.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
• was considered a very good defensive player and was able to defend multiple positions, generally guarding the opposing team’s best offensive wing player.
• a solid offensive player and would find the open man.
2004-05 (Redshirt Season)
• did not participate in collegiate basketball.
2003-04 (Freshman Season at South Plains Junior College)
• played one season at South Plains Junior College for coach Steve Green.
• averaged 7.5 points, four rebounds and four assists per game.
• was recruited by San Diego, San Francisco and North Texas out of junior college.
High School
• played for his father, Mike Hatch, at Paschal High School his senior season.
• averaged 23.5 points and 12 rebounds per game that year.
• was named the district MVP, all-region and All-State.
• won the city scoring title.
• Paschal was the bi-district champions.
• played for Lewisville High School before transferring to Paschal.
• was recruited by San Diego, Utah State, UTEP and Utah out of high school.
Personal
Born Oct. 7, 1984, Tyler is the son of Mike and Kay Hatch. His father is the director of student-athlete development for the Cowboy Basketball program. His mother was a professional volleyball player. He has a sister, Haley, who is a volleyball player at Tyler Junior College. Tyler is majoring in sports management at Oklahoma State.
