The Walk Takes A New Route To Boone Pickens Stadium
September 18, 2007 | Cowboy Football
The Oklahoma State football team will take a new path to Boone Pickens Stadium for The Walk prior to games due to construction on the architecture building on campus, it was announced today. The changes will be put into place for this week's Big 12 opener against Texas Tech and will last throughout the season unless otherwise noted.
The Walk will still begin at the Student Union and travel north on Hester. Instead of turning east onto Athletic Avenue, The Walk will continue north on Hester before eventually turning east into the last entrance of the parking lot south of Boone Pickens Stadium. This is right before the construction fence of the west end zone.
The Walk will turn north when it is approximately even with Gate 10 of the stadium, which is where it will come to an end.
As always, The Walk takes place two hours and 15 minutes prior to kickoff, meaning that for this week's 2:30 p.m. contest against the Red Raiders, it begins at 12:15 p.m.
