Following practices during fall camp, okstate.com will visit with first-year members of the Oklahoma State football team and provide fans with a behind-the-scenes look at what makes the newest Cowboys tick. Today's installation highlights defensive lineman Ahmad Jones.
1) Who is the biggest influence in your life?
My mom and my dad.
2)What reality TV show would you have the best chance of winning?
I would have to say The Real World, because I am a challenger and I finish everything.
3) Do you have any football superstitions?
I pray before every game. My mom taught me to pray every day.
4) If you had one CD to listen to for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Anything by Lil Wayne.
5) If your home was on fire and you could only save on possession, what would you save?
My bible.
6) What is your favorite thing about football?
I love getting out here with the guys that care about you – the players and coaches. I like that family aspect of it.
7) If you could have dinner with any three people, living or dead, who would they be?
Reggie White, Warren Sapp and Fred Perry.
8) Who is your favorite super hero?
Superman
9) What is the one TV show can you not miss?
The Wayans Brothers
10) What is the best gift you ever received?
Love from my parents
11) If you could play any other sport in college, what would you play?
Basketball. That was my first sport.
12) What is your favorite thing about Oklahoma State so far?
I like the players and coaches. It is like a big family here. I also like how peaceful it is here in Stillwater.
13) What is your favorite movie of all-time?
I like a lot of movies. Some of my favorites are Scary Movie 3, American Pie 2, and American Wedding.
14) What is your biggest fear?
Death.
15) What one word would you use to describe yourself?
Powerful
16) What was your first job?
Washing cars at a car dealership
17) What is your favorite restaurant?
The buffet at Ryan's Steakhouse. The big men love to eat at the buffet.
18) Do you have a favorite saying or motto?
Always work hard
19) What is your dream job other than playing football?
Running my own business. I am studying business management here.
