2005: Thompson did not compete his redshirt freshman season.

2004: His redshirt season at Oklahoma State.

High School: Durfey played center at Edmond Santa Fe High School. His senior year, he was named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association all-district team in 6A-1. He was also named to the all-Metro Conference team and was honorable mention All-Big City according to the Daily Oklahoman. Durfey was named to the Suburban team for the seventh-annual Jim Thorpe football game following his senior season.

Personal: Born Nov. 25, 1986, Durfey is the son of Durfey and Carmen Thompson. He is majoring in business at Oklahoma State.
