Cowboys Hold Final Practice Prior To First Scrimmage

The 2007 Oklahoma State football team will complete the first stage of fall camp

Saturday evening when it conducts a closed scrimmage on the OSU campus.

The Cowboys had their final workout before the first scrimmage on Friday evening in the shade of the practice fields located east of the OSU Athletics Center.

“We had a good practice with a little two-minute drill and a lot of conditioning,” head coach Mike Gundy said of the team's 12^th workout of camp. “I think we're further along than I would have anticipated. We are in really good physical condition. There's a lot of competition in individual drills and our players are responding to coaching.”

Gundy expects Saturday's scrimmage to cover approximately 100 plays. On Sunday, the Cowboys will have their first off day since reporting to Stillwater on Aug. 1.
