High School: A two-year starter at quarterback ... Earned all-conference and all-district honors ... Also the starting punter, averaging 39.6 yards per attempt ... Served as goalkeeper for the Bulldogs' soccer team and was named all-district and all-conference in that sport ... Named to the Oklahoma roster as a quarterback and kicker for the 68th annual Oil Bowl and was instrumental in Oklahoma's 38-7 win over Texas ... Kept the Texas squad pinned inside the 20-yard line throughout the first half with his punts, and had two field goals in the game.
