Cowboys Tabbed Fourth in Big 12 South
July 19, 2007 | Cowboy Football
The Oklahoma State Cowboys have been tabbed for a fourth-place finish in the Big 12 South in preseason media balloting announced by the Big 12 Conference on Thursday.
The media picked Missouri to win the North and Texas to claim the South Division title.
The Cowboys finished with 81 points in the poll, one point shy of third-place favorite Texas A&M (which received one first-place vote).
Oklahoma State is one of just three Big 12 teams entering 2007 off of a bowl win. The Cowboys will unofficially start the 2007 season next week when Big 12 players and coaches gather in San Antonio for Big 12 Football Media Day.
The OSU squad reports to Stillwater on Aug. 1 with practice scheduled to begin Aug. 2. On Saturday, Aug. 4, OSU will host Fan Appreciation Day in the Athletics Center, beginning at 1 p.m.
