Steelers Sign McBean to Three-Year Deal

The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced the signing of Oklahoma State product Ryan McBean. Financial terms of the three-year contract were not released.
McBean, a 6-5, 285-pound defensive lineman was selected by the Steelers in the fourth-round (132nd overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played two years at OSU after transferring from Hinds (Miss.) Community College. During his career as a Cowboy, he recorded 62 tackles and 7.5 sacks in 24 games, 23 of which he started.
McBean becomes the second Big 12 product to be drafted and signed by the Steelers. Former Baylor punter Daniel Sepulveda, who was also drafted in the fourth round, signed a three-year deal with Pittsburgh.
Former OSU offensive lineman and college teammate of McBean, Corey Hilliard was also taken in the 2007 draft. He was selected in the sixth round (209th overall) by the New England Patriots.
