ATLANTA, Ga. Â Oklahoma State's women's track and field volunteer assistant coach Alison Erzinger qualified for the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal best performance Saturday at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
Erzinger, who was a 2005 NCAA All-American in the event, posted a time of 57.97 to finish fifth.
Oklahoma State will now be represented in Indianapolis by Erzinger, along with freshman Leah Schroeder, who will compete in the 5,000-meter run at the USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Schroeder ran a qualifying time of 17:45.53 at the John Jacobs Invitational in Norman, Okla., earlier this season.
The championships will be held at the IU Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium, June 22-24.
