Siksnelyte Sets Regional Qualifying Mark at Texas Relays

Siksnelyte, who qualified in the event for the second time of her career, set a personal best mark of 41-05.25 (12.63-meters). The senior from
Freshman Hanna Holst then had a solid fourth-place finish in the 1,500-meter run, despite falling short of qualifying standards with a time of 4:39.89.
OSU was also highlighted by sophomore Tihana Sarac, as she improved her personal best performance in the 400-meter hurdles by one second with a time of 1:02.69.
In the throwing events, OSU was led by junior Alina Roman's ninth-place finish in the discus. Roman, who holds the school record in the event, threw a distance of 163-09 (49.91-meters).
Sophomore LaKendra Greathouse then added a 10th-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 46-03.25 (14.10-meters), while sophomore Merritt Dietz finished six spots outside the top 10 in the discus with a distance of 145-03 (44.27-meters).
