Hjalmarsen Leads Cowgirls Out West

BERKLEY, Calif. - Oklahoma State's women's track and field team was led by freshman Tone Hjalmarsen's first-place finish in the 5,000-meter run this weekend at the California Collegiate Challenge.
The native of
“Tone ran a smart race,” Cowgirl head coach Rene Sepulveda said. “Like many of the other girls, if she continues to improve she will be closing in on setting a regional qualifying mark.”
The Cowgirls also got a solid performance from freshman Hanna Holst, who finished fourth in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:36.45.
