Cowgirl Soccer Finishes Spring Season Unbeaten

Oklahoma State's soccer team wrapped up its spring exhibition season by defeating Oral Roberts, 4-1, and earning a scoreless draw against Mississippi in Bixby, Okla.

The Cowgirls jumped out quickly against ORU as Annika Niemeier netted the first goal on an assist from Adriane Radtke. Jessica Jarrell put the game away with a pair of goals, the first coming just before halftime on a diving header.

Jarrell scored again to open the second half as she finished a corner kick by Siera Strawser. She assisted on OSU's final goal as Kasey Langdon knocked in a free kick taken by Jarrell.

The Cowgirls had missed opportunities against Ole Miss as Niemeier hit the post twice. Yolanda Odenyo just missed the goal with a couple of shots. Erin Stigler kept OSU in the game as she recorded the shutout.

OSU went 7-0-1 during the spring as it looks to advance farther in the NCAA Tournament after falling in the second round to Clemson in a shootout in 2006.
