OSU Offers Free Family Fun At Cowboy Kickoff
April 11, 2007 | Cowboy Football
Fans attending Oklahoma State's “Cowboy Kickoff” Spring Game this Saturday will find a host of activities geared for fans of all ages.
Kickoff is set for 5:30 pm, April 14, at Boone Pickens Stadium.
“Without a doubt, this year's spring game is going to be bigger and better than ever,” said Kyle Wray, OSU marketing director. “We'll have lots of fan-friendly things to do inside and outside the stadium, and we're expecting perfect gameday weather.”
Cowboy Kickoff activities include tailgating (campus parking lots open all day) and the OKState Corral (3 pm – 6 pm outside the stadium featuring carnival style concessions, face-painting, kids games, free spring game posters, OSU merchandise, pictures with Pistol Pete and much more).
Gates will open at 4 p.m., with open seating inside the stadium and admission is free for the event.
“This is a chance for some fans to get a front row or 50-yard-line view of the team and take home some great memories,” Wray said.
Wray also encourages fans to get over to Reynolds Stadium and catch Cowboy Baseball vs. Kansas State at 2 pm.
“Bring your family and make a day of it in Stillwater.”
