OSU Completes Final Monday Practice Of Spring

Under overcast skies, the Oklahoma State football team put the wraps on its final Monday drill of the spring with just one practice (Wednesday) now remaining prior to Saturday's Orange-White game (Boone Pickens Stadium at 5:30 p.m.).

The Cowboys spent much of Monday on special situations, including two-minute and four-minute offense drills.

As OSU winds down spring drills, and because the squad has been healthy throughout March and April, the Orange-White game will likely have a very competitive feel. Coach Mike Gundy told the media following Monday's practice that the spring game will feature split squads instead of first and second units competing against each other.

“Because we have been healthy, we can split them up,” he said. “It gives us a chance to have a real game. We're not going to be vanilla. We're going to let them play.”

The coaching staff hopes to finalize rosters for the spring game by Tuesday.
