Cowboys Look To Continue Win Streak At Texas-Arlington

The Cowboys have won five-straight games and are coming off a weekend sweep of Nicholls State in which they outscored the Colonels 29-7. OSU is hitting a Big 12-best .338, and six Cowboy regulars are hitting .333 or better. The Cowboy pitching staff has a collective 3.45 ERA and has racked up 110 strikeouts in 114.2 innings. OSU hurlers allowed just nine earned runs in 36 innings last week as the Cowboys went 4-0. Coach Frank Anderson's club will travel to Arlington, Texas, on Tuesday to take on Texas-Arlington before opening a three-game series against 10th-ranked Pepperdine on Friday at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

The Mavericks are 6-9 and are coming off a 2-2 showing last week. UTA opened the week with a 10-inning loss at Baylor and then dropped a 3-2 contest at Dallas Baptist before ending the week with wins against Northwestern and New Mexico State. The Mavs are 0-4 against the Big 12 Conference this season, with losses to Texas, Nebraska, Texas A&M and Baylor.

OSU's Frank Anderson is 123-72 in his fourth season with the Cowboys.
