2006 Indoor: After an impressive freshman campaign, Broaddus competed in just one meet during the indoor season ... threw 37-0.25 in the shot put at the KSU All-Comers Meet.
2006 Outdoor: Broaddus focused on competing in the javelin as she was the lone Cowgirl to compete in the event ... threw a season best distance of 132-02 in the event at the Big 12 Championships, where she finished one spot outside the top 10 ... claimed top honors at the John Jacobs Invitational with a throw of 122-02 ... also claimed three other top-10 finishes at the Mean Green Invitational, TCU Invitational and Tulsa Duels.
2005 Indoor: Broaddus performed well during the indoor season, as she focused primarily on throwing the shot put ... had a season best throw of 43'5.75” (13.25-meters) at the J.D. Martin Invitational ... finished third at the Sooner Invitational with a throw of 44'2.5” (13.47-meters) ... ended the season with a 13th-place showing at the Big 12 Indoor Championships.
2005 Outdoor: During the outdoor season, Broaddus scored a point for OSU with an eighth-place finish in the javelin at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships ... had a season best performance of 134'2” (40.90-meters) at the championships ... finished fourth in the javelin at the UTA Invitational with a throw of 133'1” (40.79-meters) ... threw a distance of 131' (39.92-meters) in the hammer throw at the Tulsa Duels ... finished third in the shot put at the K.T. Woodman Classic ... at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, she set a personal record in the shot put with a throw of 42'1” (13.02-meters).
High School: Brandi was the state shot put champion in 2003 and in 2004 ... was named All-State Honorable Mention in basketball ... was all-league in track and basketball all four years in high school ... was on the all-area track team in her final two years in high school.
Personal: Born October 1, 1985 ... enjoys playing basketball, riding motorcycles, sewing and fishing ... her favorite television show is Smokey and the Bandit ... her favorite professional football team is the Denver Broncos ... she is majoring in zoology ... her mother Cindy, played basketball and volleyball at Dodge City Community College ... she has one brother, Chip (17) ... she is the daughter of Charlie and Cindy Broaddus.
