Cowboy Signee Anderson to Participate in All-American Game

James Anderson, a senior at Junction City High School and an Oklahoma State signee, will participate in the McDonald's All-American Game Wednesday night. The game, played at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Ky., will tip off at 7 p.m. central time and will be televised by ESPN.

Anderson averaged 39 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and four steals per game his senior season, leading Junction City to the Arkansas Class 2A state championship. He was named the championship game Most Valuable Player after scoring 43 points in a 68-35 victory over Jessieville. The Dragons finished the season with a 32-3 record, and two of the three losses came in games in which Anderson did not play.

The 6-7 Anderson will play for the West squad, along with Kansas signee Cole Aldrich, future Kansas State Wildcat Michael Beasley and Oklahoma signee Blake Griffin.
