vs. Nicholls State (3-7)
March 2-4 Â 4 p.m., 2 p.m., 1 p.m.

Oklahoma State
The Cowboys are 7-3 after Tyler Mach's five-RBI day led them to a 10-3 win over Dallas Baptist on Tuesday in their first home game of 2007. OSU is hitting a Big 12-best .336, with six Cowboy regulars hitting over .320. The Cowboy pitching staff has a collective 3.90 ERA and has racked up 93 strikeouts in 87.2 innings. OSU has won over 83 percent of its games at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium, which is now in its 27th season.
Nicholls State
The Colonels are 3-7 and the weekend series will mark the first time they have left the state of Louisiana for a game this season. NSU is coming off a 5-0 loss to New Orleans on Tuesday. Members of the Southland Conference, the Colonels have two wins over Mississippi Valley State and a victory over Louisiana Tech in 2007.
The Coaches
OSU's Frank Anderson is 120-72 in his fourth season with the Cowboys.
The Colonels are led by Chip Durham, who is in his second season at NSU and is 16-47.
In The Polls
OSU's highest ranking is No. 21 by Baseball America. The Cowboys are ranked 23rd by USA Today and 24th by the NCBWA. Nicholls State is not ranked.

Aluminum Assault
Frank Anderson called his 2006 squad the best offensive team he's had since arriving in Stillwater, and it's scary to think the Cowboys could be even better in 2007.
In '06, OSU led the Big 12 in extra base hits with 242, including topping the conference in home runs (84), triples (32) and slugging percentage (.521). OSU also ranked second in team batting average (.316) and runs (443), and seven different Cowboys batted at least .300.
In addition, OSU had three players  Tyler Mach, Deik Scram and Corey Brown  among the top 20 in the league in batting average.
OSU also averaged 7.3 runs and 11.2 hits per game. The Cowboys scored 10 or more runs 17 times and had 16 games where they racked up at least 15 hits.
The Cowboys are continuing that type of production at the plate in 2007. OSU leads the Big 12 in batting average (.336) and slugging percentage (.547) and has four players  Tyler Mach, Matt Mangini, Keanon Simon and Rebel Ridling  among the top 17 hitters in the league.
OSU is averaging 8.3 runs and 12.4 hits per contest in '07. The Cowboys have had at least 10 hits in all but one game this season, with a season high of 18 hits vs. Ball State.
Home Sweet Home
Allie P. Reynolds Stadium has been home to Oklahoma State baseball since 1981, and in those 26 seasons the Cowboys have proven to be nearly unbeatable on their home field.
OSU is 675-135 (.833) all-time at Reynolds Stadium, and the Cowboys have never lost more than two consecutive games on their home turf. The Cowboys were 28-4 at home in 2006, which marked their best home record since they went 21-3 in 1999.
