The Cowboys had their season opening weekend series against Hofstra canceled due to inclement weather. OSU is coming off a 41-20 campaign in 2006 in which they were a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in more than a decade. The Cowboys also finished second in the Big 12 Conference regular-season standings, the program's highest-ever finish in the Big 12. Six starters return from a year ago, as well as three pitchers who won at least five games.
