Cowboy Golf In Fourth Place At Puerto Rico Classic

Oklahoma State's men's golf team carded a 282 team score on Sunday during the first round of the Puerto Rico Classic to stand alone in fourth place at Rio Mar Country Club.
The Cowboys's 6-under total is one shot behind Stanford for third place and nine shots off the pace of tournament leader East Tennessee State.
Coming off a season-opening victory at the Hawaii-Hilo Intercollegiate, sophomore Jonathan Moore was among four players to fire a 4-under 68 on the day. The quartet will enter the second round of play three shots behind co-leaders Rhys Davies and Cian McNamara of ETSU.
Senior Tyler Leon and younger brother, Trent, both carded 2-under 70s on the day and are tied with nine other players for 13th place.
Freshman Chris Ward came in tied for 52nd place with a 74 on the day, while senior Ryan Posey rounded out the lineup with a 77 to finish tied for 71st place.
OSU will return to the par-72, 6,902-yard layout for its second round tomorrow at 7 a.m. (EST).
