Cowgirl Soccer Receives Academic Honor

STILLWATER, Okla. Â For the sixth-consecutive year, the Oklahoma State soccer program has earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award.
To earn the NSCAA Team Academic Award, a team must post a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Cowgirls sport a 3.39 overall GPA.
OSU was one of four teams from the Big 12 Conference to earn the award, and the Cowgirls' 3.39 GPA was the highest in the league.
The Cowgirls had a conference-best 13 players named to the Academic All-Big 12 team in 2007, and senior Niccole Grimaldi became the program's second Academic All-American in November. Grimaldi, who carries a 3.94 GPA, and fellow senior Sasa Jackson (3.73 GPA) were first-team Academic All-District honorees by ESPN The Magazine/CoSida.
