Cowgirl Trio Earns Spots On All-Central Region Teams

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Oklahoma State had three players named to 2007 NSCAA/adidas All-Central Region teams, it was announced today by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Yolanda Odenyo was named first-team All-Central Region for the second-straight year, while Kasey Langdon earned second-team honors and Siera Strawser was selected to the third team.
Odenyo, Langdon and Strawser helped lead OSU to a 14-6-3 record in 2007 as the Cowgirls advanced to the second round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship for the second-consecutive season.
A junior midfielder, Odenyo was a first-team All-Big 12 selection who started all 23 games for the Cowgirls this season. The Uppsala, Sweden native tied for second on the squad with 17 points as she recorded seven goals and notched three assists.
A sophomore from Wylie, Texas, Langdon was the Cowgirls' leading scorer as she racked up 19 points on five goals and a team-high nine assists. Her nine assists also ranked second in the Big 12 Conference.
Strawser followed a freshman All-American campaign with another strong season as she led OSU with eight goals in 2007, including four in conference play. A midfielder, Strawser also had an assist to finish tied with Odenyo for second on the squad with 17 points.
