Oklahoma State is set to host the 2008 Big 12 Wrestling Championships at Gallagher-Iba Arena on March 8.
The Cowboys hosted the event in 2001 and won the event by a wide margin, finishing 17 points ahead of second-place Oklahoma.
Iowa State is the reigning Big 12 champion, having won the 2007 conference meet by five points over Missouri and and five 1/2 points over Oklahoma State.
The Cowboys have won eight of a possible 11 Big 12 team championships since the conference held its first championship in 1997. OSU owns 49 Big 12 individual championships for an average of 4.45 Big 12 champions per year.
