Odenyo Named To Big 12 Soccer Championship All-Tournament Team

SAN ANTONIO — Oklahoma State junior Yolanda Odenyo was named to the all-tournament team at the Big 12 Soccer Championship, it was announced by the league.
Odenyo, a first-team All-Big 12 midfielder, led the Cowgirls to the tourney semifinals with a pair of goals. She scored OSU's first goal of the tourney against Kansas in a 3-0 win, and she netted the Cowgirls' lone goal in their semifinal match against Texas.
For the season, Odenyo is tied for the team lead with seven goals, and she is OSU's second-leading scorer with 16 points. She ranks fifth on the school's all-time list in goals and points.
Odenyo and the Cowgirls will open play at the 2007 NCAA Women's Soccer Championship Friday when they square off against San Diego at Marshall Field in Los Angeles at 10 p.m. (CST).
