Post-Game Notes

:: Oklahoma State entered Saturday's game ranked in the top 10 nationally in both rushing offense and total offense. Kansas entered the game ranked among the top 10 nationally in rushing defense and total defense. The Cowboys racked up 471 yards of total offense Saturday, while the Jayhawks had previously limited their opponents to 288.3 yards per game. In the same vein, OSU rushed for 195 yards against a Kansas defense that had previously limited the opposition to 77.7 rushing yards per game.

:: Wide receiver Adarius Bowman went to the sidelines in the second quarter after making a reception and did not return. Bowman was tackled around the knees for a three-yard loss on the play by Aqib Talib.

:: With 276 passing yards Saturday, Zac Robinson increased his season total to 2,215, making him only the fourth quarterback in OSU history to pass for 2,000 yards in a single season (Josh Fields, Mike Gundy and Bobby Reid are the others.)

:: Zac Robinson broke a 57-yard run early in the third quarter that set up a Robinson touchdown run two plays later. The 57-yard dash was the longest of Robinson's career and was the longest running play of the season for OSU.

:: Zac Robinson moved up the charts in various statistical categories Saturday. A closer look:

:: Oklahoma State entered Saturday's game as the only team in the nation averaging 240 yards rushing and 240 yards passing per game this season. The Cowboys rushed for 195 yards and passed for passed for 276 yards Saturday.

:: Dantrell Savage entered Saturday's game as the Big 12 leader and ranked 13th nationally in rushing with 121.3 yards per game. He rushed for 106 yards Saturday, giving him his seventh consecutive 100-yard rushing game since returning from injury. Savage's rushed for more yards Saturday than any other back who has faced the Jayhawks this year.

:: Freshman receiver Dez Bryant established a new Oklahoma State freshman record with 155 yards receiving Saturday. In addition, he became the first Cowboy freshman to post a 100-yard receiving game since Marcellus Rivers in 1998 (104 yards vs. Texas).

:: Freshman receiver Damian Davis made a huge play when he reached behind a Kansas defender and made a very difficult 26-yard reception at the Kansas six-yard line in the fourth quarter. Zac Robinson punched in a six-yard touchdown run on the next play. Davis' grab was the first of his career.

:: Senior Tommy Devereaux brought in the first touchdown reception of his career when he connected with Zac Robinson on a 39-yard scoring grab in the third quarter.

:: Senior Maurice Cummings logged the first sack of his career when he dropped Todd Reesing in the first quarter.

:: Following a Julius Crosslin touchdown in the second quarter, Oklahoma State took a 14-10 lead. Entering Saturday's game Kansas had trailed for only 24 minutes and 15 seconds in its first nine games combined.

:: Oklahoma State finished Saturday's game with 471 yards of total offense, making the Cowboys only the second team to eclipse the 400-yard plateau against Kansas this year (Nebraska went for 484 yards of total offense against the Jayhawks last week.)

:: The Cowboys scored two touchdowns in the first half Saturday, marking the seventh consecutive game in which Oklahoma State has scored two touchdowns or more prior to intermission. Entering Saturday, only Kansas State and Nebraska had scored two touchdowns in a first half against Kansas.

:: Oklahoma State's senior class was honored in a ceremony prior to kickoff. WR Adarius Bowman, FB Zach Carter, S Clint Coe, RB Julius Crosslin, DL Maurice Cummings, WR Tommy Devereaux, DE Marque Fountain, DE Rodrick Johnson, OL David Koenig, DB Billy Lewis, RB DeAaron Martin, WR Jon Morris, LB Jeremy Nethon, RB Chris Offor, DE Nate Peterson, RB Dantrell Savage, TE Paschal Smith, DB Martel Van Zant and LB Donovan Woods all made their final appearance in front of the Boone Pickens Stadium crowd.
