OSU-Texas Game Picked For Television
October 22, 2007 | Cowboy Football
The good news for Oklahoma State football fans is that the Nov. 3rd football game against the University of Texas will be televised. The flip side of the TV selection is that kickoff time for that contest will not be known until early next week.
The Big 12 Conference has been informed by ABC that the network will utilize a six-day selection window for games on Nov. 3. The OSU-Texas game is one of two league games ABC is considering for telecast at 2:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. If the network decides on just one Big 12 game on Nov. 3, and that game does not feature the Cowboys and Longhorns, the OSU-UT game would move to 11:30 a.m. and be televised by Fox Sports Net.
The Cowboys do not play Saturday as OSU is in the midst of its first open week since beginning fall workouts on Aug. 1st. The Cowboys are 5-3 overall and share the Big 12 South lead with a 3-1 conference mark. The Cowboys are coming off a 41-39 win over No. 25 Kansas State.
