Heath Off The Mat
I chose to attend Oklahoma State because: I want to be the best wrestler and person that I can possibly be. There is no better wrestling program than OSU and I believe that if I put all that I can into wrestling, I will become a better person.
If I would describe myself as a wrestler, I would say: I am raw. I started wrestling halfway through my sophomore year in high school and I fell in love with it. I am a quick learner and I work hard, but I am still very new to the sport.
If I were to describe myself as a person, I would say: I am unique. I am shy when I first meet somebody, then I open up. I am somewhat smart and have very strong beliefs and morals. I like to push myself.
I would describe John Smith: He is one of the greatest wrestlers ever and now I am lucky enough to have him as my coach. I am very thankful for the opportunity he has given me.
My favorite thing about being in Stillwater is: Attending and wrestling for OSU.
My favorite thing about being a wrestler at Oklahoma State is: I am part of the greatest sports team of any kind, at any level, ever.
If I was talking to someone who didn't know about wrestling and they asked me about the Oklahoma State wrestling program, I would say: It is not only the best wrestling program in history, it is the best sports program of any kind, at any level, ever.
I have been told that I look like: My father.
If I could compete in any other sport besides wrestling, it would be: Golf.
If I could trade places with anyone in the world for a day, it would be: Osama Bin Laden, so I could turn myself in.
The thing that inspires me when I compete is: All the people who have told me I couldn't do something, or that I wasn't good enough, or that I could never do it. Also the great joy of victory and the agony of defeat.
The proudest moment of my life so far was: Having my parents/sister tell me that I am a good son/brother.
When I'm not wrestling or in school, I enjoy: Being with my friends and family, going to the beach, training and playing golf.
