Freeman Off The Mat
I Chose To Attend Oklahoma State Because: God provided me with an incredible opportunity to wrestle for the best team in the nation, and I couldn't turn that down.
If I Was To Describe Myself As A Wrestler, I'd Say: I may not be technically sound, but I find a way to make it happen despite my flaws.
If I Was To Describe Myself As A Person, I'd Say: I live my life to the full and enjoy every minute that God gives me. In everything I do, I want to honor Him.
If I Was To Describe John Smith, I'd Say: He finds a way to win and is successful at whatever he wants. I enjoy talking to Coach about life and learning new insight from him.
My Favorite Thing About Being In Stillwater Is: I love the small-town feel. Some say there isn't anything to do, but there are plenty of fun things to do if you look for them. I play volleyball, hang at the pool, ride horses, play pick-up basketball, have a jam session on my guitar or just have some friends over to play games or watch a movie.
My Favoring Thing About Being A Wrestler At Oklahoma State Is: I have been blessed with tremendous friends my age and older that have enriched my life in so many ways.
If I Was Talking To Someone Who Didn't Know About Wrestling And They Asked Me About The Oklahoma State Wrestling Program, I'd Say: We do alright (then usually someone says “Alright? They're the best ever!”)
I Have Been Told That I Look Like: Sylvester Stallone.
If I Could Compete In A Sport Other Than Wrestling, It Would Be: It would be sweet to be a successful golfer.
If I Could Trade Places With Anyone In The World For A Day, It Would Be: Myself in 10 years. That would be great to see what God has in store.
The Thing That Inspires Me When I Compete Is: I compete for God's glory. He's the one who allowed me to be here, and I owe it all to Him.
The Proudest Moment Of My Life So Far Was: I don't know. Every moment is special, whether I know it at the time or not.
When I'm Not Wrestling Or In School, I Enjoy: Writing and recording songs with the guitar.
