2006-07 (R-Junior Year): NCAA Qualifier and third-place finisher at the Big 12 Championships ... Started for Oklahoma State at 184, compiling a 23-15 overall record to go with a 10-9 mark in dual matches ... Picked up four wins by major decision ... Went 23-4 against unranked opponents ... 11 of his 15 defeats came at the hands of ranked opponents ... Picked up a pair of wins over Oklahoma's Josh Hinton in Bedlam Series duals, claiming a 12-4 major decision victory over Hinton in the Bedlam dual to close out the regular season ... Tallied a 5-1 record at the Reno Tournament of Champions.
2005-06 (R-Sophomore Year): Strung together an 11-5 record, including a 1-3 mark in dual matches ... Went 5-2 and recorded a technical fall at the Kaufman/Brand Open to start the season, taking fourth at the event ... Won an open title at the FHSU-Bob Smith Open ... won a dual match against Cal Poly's Yuri Kalika wrestling at 197 pounds ... recorded two falls on the season.
2004-05 (R-Freshman Year): Compiled a 10-5 record on the season ... Wrestled in three duals with a 1-2 record in those matches ... Helped OSU to a victory over Lehigh with a decision over Matt Cassidy ... Lost his first match at the Kaufman-Brand Open but then swept through the consolation bracket for third-place.
2003-04 (Redshirt Year): Compiled a 19-3 record wrestling exclusively in open tournaments ... Three of his victories came by fall with the quickest coming in 3:43.
High School: Attended Sheboygan North HS in Sheboygan, Wis., where he was coached by Herb Tyler ... Owned a 143-29 career record ... Two-time All-America honoree, once as a cadet and once as a junior ... Three-time state placer ... Also played football.
