Hendricks Wins Second Straight Big 12 Wrestling Honor
January 29, 2007 | Cowboy Wrestling
Oklahoma State went on the road and Hendricks defeated a pair of top five opponents on consecutive days. The top-ranked 165-pounder in the nation defeated UNI's No. 5 Nick Baima on Saturday. The Cowboys then traveled to Ames where Hendricks bested third-ranked Travis Paulson of Iowa State.
For the season, the senior from Edmond, Okla. is a perfect 25-0 on the season and has won 47 straight matches. He has faced a rugged schedule over the last two weeks that has seen him defeat seven wrestlers ranked in the top 10.
Oklahoma State returns to action this week when it wrestles Nebraska in Lincoln on Thursday at 7 p.m., before returning home to face second-ranked Missouri on Saturday inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
