“There were some matches that made a difference - third period takedowns at 165 and 184 that were big takedowns. That's how you win matches, taking people down in the third and we got those two wins and it made a big difference in the outcome. I'm please at the fact that we came back and beat a solid team twice in-a-row. That's important for us. But outside of that, I didn't think we did a whole lot today. I thought we were out there manufacturing a win somehow in several of our matches that we did win.”
On Johny Hendricks' match
“He found a way going into the third period. He looked at me and I felt like it was time to cut him even with 1:57 riding time. It takes a lot of guts to cut a guy with 1:57 riding time. That put him up 4-2. Good effort by him with the takedown and the ride out. Should he have been in that position? Definitely some areas that he made some mistakes today and this is the time to make them and address them.”

“That guy beat me twice. That was a big win for me and the team. I just go in there and try to do my job. It's more about the team than myself, but it's good to beat somebody you lost to previously. All three matches have been close, so it's good to win one finally.”

“I think I wrestled decent. I think it should have gone to overtime but I have to take the positives. I think I rode him pretty well. I took him down but I lost. In the matches before I could not ride him or take him down. I accomplished some things but I need to be able to score on offensive takedown against him.”
