Odenyo Named to Soccer Buzz Team of the Week

Junior midfielder Yolanda Odenyo continues to pile up the awards after having a stellar weekend in victories over Kansas and No. 11 Colorado as she was named to the Soccer Buzz Team of the Week this afternoon.

Odenyo scored in the 106^th minute to knock off Kansas and came back to score a goal on a penalty kick to help the Cowgirls upset No. 11 Colorado.

Earlier in the week, Odenyo was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week and was named to the Soccer America Team of the Week.

The Cowgirls (8-1-1, 3-0-0 Big 12) have entered the national polls for the first time this season at No. 17 by NSCAA. They are ranked 21^st by Soccer Times and 22^nd by Soccer America.

OSU plays eighth-ranked Texas A&M tonight in College Station, Texas at 7 p.m. The game is being delayed by the Fox Soccer Channel and can be seen at 10:30 p.m. OSU plays No. 11 Texas on Friday at 7 p.m. in Austin.
