Woods also had two touchdown catches, the fourth multiple-touchdown game of his career.
Junior defensive end Nathan Peterson and senior defensive end Victor DeGrate have each recorded a sack in three-straight games.
Peterson had two sacks against the Cougars and now has four sacks on the season after finishing with 2.5 in nine games a year ago.
Bobby Reid's 75-yard scoring strike to Adarius Bowman in the opening quarter was the longest completion of the sophomore's career. It was also the Cowboys' longest play from scrimmage in 2006 and tied for the 11th longest pass play in school history.
Reid also set a career-high with 281 passing yards, besting his 186-yard performance last week against Florida Atlantic.
Reid's 281 passing yards were also the 18th-best single-game total in school history.
Junior Adarius Bowman's 166 receiving yards set a career high, topping his previous best of 93 set against FAU last week.
Freshman Keith Toston's 40-yard run in the fourth quarter was the longest of his career.
The loss snapped OSU's 14-game non-conference winning streak and snapped a 13-game winning streak in September for the Cowboys.
