Cowgirls Rated Fourth in Preseason Poll

“It's a great honor to be rated so high, but I feel that we have to improve a lot more to establish a top-five ranking,” Cowgirl head coach Rene Sepulveda said.
OSU is coming off an impressive 10th-place showing at last year's NCAA Championships, its highest finish since the 1989 season when the Cowgirls finished fifth. The No. 4 ranking is the highest OSU has been rated in the program's 26 seasons.
A board of Division I coaches votes in the USTFCCCA poll, as the rankings will be released weekly on Tuesdays.
