 True freshman Perrish Cox continues to be a strong force on special teams. One week after returning the opening kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown, a punt 41 yards and an interception 21 yards, Cox set up Oklahoma State's second-quarter touchdown with a 49-yard return of an Arkansas State quick kick.
 Thanks to touchdowns by Bobby Reid, Mike Hamilton, Jeremiah Burton and Julius Crosslin, nine different Cowboys have reached the end zone through two games of 2006.
 Bobby Reid ran for the first score of his career (13 yards in the second quarter), and Mike Hamilton ran for the second TD of his career, a seven-yard scoring run in the second period.
 Through two games, OSU has scored 38 points in the second quarter. Last season, the Cowboys scored 61 second-quarter points all season.
 Through two games, four Oklahoma State players have rushed for touchdowns. Four players rushed for touchdowns through all 11 games of the 2005 season.
 Sophomore Jeremiah Burton's first-career reception went for a four-yard TD catch in the third period.
 The Cowboys' victory was their 13th-straight against non-conference competition in the regular season  a first at OSU.
 With his reception late in the game, senior wide receiver D'Juan Woods has now made a reception in 23 consecutive games.
 Oklahoma State has scored at least one touchdown in seven of eight quarters this season.
 The Cowboys have now scored in nine of 10 possessions in the red zone this season, all TDs.
