Gameday Experience Provides Excitement Inside and Outside Stadium

At every home football game this season, fans of all ages can show up early and experience Cowboy football in a whole new way. OSU fans can experience live concerts, carnival fare, OSU merchandise vendors, a live pre-game show with Cowboy football experts and so much more.

Starting at noon on Saturday, “Made in Oklahoma” merchandise vendors will be set up on the south and east sides of Boone Pickens Stadium with a variety of Cowboy merchandise made right here in Oklahoma. OSU fans can purchase items such as yard signs, jewelry, purses, baby items, hand-painted signs, chairs and many other items to show their orange pride. Although items purchased from the “Made in Oklahoma” vendors can't be carried into he stadium, there will be a checked-items area on the east side of the stadium.
Starting at 2 p.m. on the North side of the stadium, GoVision will allow Cowboy fans to keep up with ESPN's coverage of scores and highlights from college football games across the country.
At 3 p.m. on the North side, the “OK State Corral” will entertain fans of all ages with carnival concessions and inflatable games. Fans can also stop by the Nike Authentic tent where they can buy all kinds of OSU merchandise and clothing. Fans can also stop by the Nike Authentic team store on the south side of the stadium.
At 3:45 p.m. fans can support head coach Mike Gundy and the Cowboy football team as they continue the tradition of “The Walk”. The Cowboys will emerge from the Atherton Hotel and make the walk down Hester Street to Boone Pickens Stadium. They will be led by Coach Gundy and the OSU Marching Band. This will be your first opportunity to fire up the team so come out and support your Cowboys.
At 4 p.m. fans can take in the Jason Savory Band in “Live from Bennett Hall”. The band will be set up on the basketball court on the south side of the building. Immediately following the band, “Live from Bennett Hall” will continue with the OSU Spirit Squad leading a Cowboy football pep rally.
Cowboy Sports Network will begin their gameday broadcast at 4:30 on the north side of the stadium. Join Cowboy football analysts John Holcomb and Dave Hunziker as they provide expert analysis and an in-depth look at Coach Gundy's Cowboys heading into the 2006-07 season.
After the gameday broadcast, it is into the stadium where Pistol Pete and the OSU Marching band will cap the festivities with a pre-game show including an “OK State Corral Gunfight”. Then it is time to cheer for your OSU Cowboys as they kick off the season against the Missouri State Bears. So arrive early, wear orange and make some noise!
