Cowboys Announce 2006 Captains; Parks Practices

Oklahoma State head football coach Mike Gundy announced team captains for the 2006 season.

Senior offensive lineman Corey Hilliard, senior defensive end Victor DeGrate and sophomore kicker Jason Ricks were selected as team captains for the 2006 season. In addition, OSU will have an extra captain that is rotated during the season.

Junior wide receiver Anthony Parks practiced with the team for approximately 45 minutes today. Gundy announced following practice that Parks is currently pursuing options that could allow him to play this season.

The Cowboys open the season against Missouri State on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Boone Pickens Stadium.
