Hagemann coached the Cowgirl goalkeepers to three Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors in 2005. Emergency goalkeeper Bettina Grossmann recorded two shutouts and won the award in consecutive weeks, while Jeanne Rankin recorded a shutout playing on a torn anterior cruciate ligament and won the award.
Under his guidance, two goalkeepers at Oklahoma State have earned postseason honors. Kathrin Lehmann finished the 2003 season with an impressive 0.72 goals against average en route to earning second-team All-Big 12 and all-newcomer accolades. In 2002, senior Kat Doud also earned second-team All-Big 12 honors and posted a 1.24 goals against average.
A native of Moore, Okla., Hagemann joined the Oklahoma State program after playing two years of collegiate soccer at the University of Memphis where he earned the Coaches Leadership Award.
Prior to this position, he served as the assistant coach at Putnam City North from 2000-02 and the assistant coach at Westmoore in 1999.
In high school, Hagemann was an all-state goalkeeper at Westmoore. He was also a two-time all-conference and all-district selection.
During his senior year, Hagemann earned several state and regional honors for his play in goal, including being named a Parade All-American. He was also The Daily Oklahoman All-City Defensive Player of the Year, the Umbro State Player of the Year and the NSCAA Regional Player of the Year.
On the club level, Hagemann served as the goalkeeper for the Royals Â78 and Scirroco FC squads.
In addition to his coaching duties, Hagemann serves as the associate camp director for Oklahoma State's Soccer Camps.
Hagemann earned his associates degree in EMS municipal fire protection at OSU-OKC and completed the requirements for a general business degree with a pre-law emphasis in May 2004 at Oklahoma State.
